Server Version:http://www.timepunch.de/download/server390/TpAppServer_3.9.128.3.exe

Finally it’s time: TimePunch 3.9 is online!

The following features have been implemented in TimePunch Management:

  • FS#1127 – Support of short-time work and evaluations of short-time work
TimePunch supports since this version working time models for short-time work. New short-time work reports are also available. TimePunch automatically calculates the short-time work hours and offers overviews per day for one employee and in tabular form for several employees for printing and exporting to PDF.
  • FS#1124 – Copying of roof projects
When copying roof projects, child projects are now also copied. This makes it easier to create new complex project structures.
  • FS#1062 – propagate project data of the roof project
If employees are assigned or the customer is changed in the roof project, these changes are also propagated to all assigned projects.
  • FS#1075 – New authorization, Personnel Management
TimePunch knows from this version on a new authorization. The new authorization Personnel Management differs from the previous authorization in that the employee no longer has project management rights. The existing role has therefore been renamed Personnel Management and Project Management.
  • FS#1041 – Optional, allow / disallow entry without start and end time
In the project you can now select whether time entries are allowed for the project with start and end time, with duration or with both.
  • FS#788 – Hide completed projects in reporting
A new filter has been introduced in reporting. It is now possible to select only active projects or also already completed projects in reporting.
  • .

The following features have been implemented in TimePunch Calendar:

  • FS#1129 – Prevent already approved leave from being withdrawn
In the current version, it is now no longer possible for an employee to withdraw leave that has already been approved If this is desired, the personnel manager must cancel the leave in TimePunch.
  • .

The following features have been implemented in TimePunch Cutter:

  • FS#803 – Unpaid overtime per day
In TimePunch Cutter it is now possible to define unpaid overtime per day. This was previously only possible for the entire month.

The following bugs have been fixed:

  • FS#1128 – Budget overruns during import
Up to now budget overruns were not checked when importing CSV data. This problem is solved now.
  • FS#973 – Copying of projects
Copying of projects was fixed, which partly prevented a complete copying.

TimePunch Patch 3.8.321.0

The following features have been implemented:

  • FS#1113 – Better performance in project evaluation
By adapting the database queries, considerable improvements in the evaluation of project times were achieved.
  • FS#1114 – Preventing tricks at the end of the month

TimePunch v3.7

Standalone Version:http://www.timepunch.de/download/TimePunch_3.7.301.0.exe
Server Version:http://www.timepunch.de/download/server370/TpAppServer_3.7.227.0.exe

Finally it’s time: TimePunch 3.7 is online!

The following features have been implemented in the Application Server:

  • FS#1047 – Origin of logons and logouts
Starting with version 3.7, TimePunch stores not only when and who logged in or logged out, but also by which method. This makes it possible to track whether an employee has logged on or off at the time recording terminal, at the watcher or online. This increases the traceability of the entries.
  • FS#1051 – Extended password security
New passwords must meet a minimum requirement for password security. Passwords must meet the following requirements.
    • Min. 6 characters
    • Min. 1 capital letter
    • Min. 1 small letter
    • Min. 1 number
  • Update to .NET Framework 4.7.2
The application server and all TimePunch modules require the .NET Framework 4.7.2. from version 3.7 on.

The following features were implemented in the management module:

  • FS#1035 – Wage payment until overtime is used up
As a new feature in TimePunch, a fixed wage payment can now be defined as a rule until the overtime hours (or a minimum number of overtime hours) have been used up. This allows seasonal workers or employees with hourly wages who have to maintain a fixed number of overtime hours to be mapped.
  • FS#1048 – Restriction of the bookable working time to activities
From now on, activities can be created with a maximum bookable working time per day. This is particularly interesting for service providers, for example, to prevent overbooking of the project.
  • FS#1052 – Display reduced working time
Working time shortened by the cutter or other restrictions (see FS#1048) is now displayed in a separate column in the management module and can therefore be evaluated.
  • FS#1050 – Possibility to mark time entries across employees
The filter functionality of TimePunch has been further enhanced. The time entries can now be marked as invoiced using the filter – and this can be done across all employees, e.g. for all entries of a project in a month.

The following features have been implemented in the online module:

  • FS#1046 – GPS Geo-Coordinates
When logging in and out of the online module, the GPS coordinates are now additionally determined and stored. Now it is also possible to track where the employee logged on and off the system. These values are also displayed in the management module and linked to Google Maps.

The following features have been implemented in the Datafox module:

  • FS#493 – Protocol mail in case of untypical usage behaviour
In case of an incorrect booking, the responsible personnel manager or administrator will be informed about the incorrect booking.

TimePunch 3.6

Standalone Version:http://www.timepunch.de/download/TimePunch_3.6.211.0.exe
Server Version:http://www.timepunch.de/download/server360/TpAppServer_3.6.208.0.exe

Finally it’s time: TimePunch 3.6 is online!

The following features were implemented in the application server:

  • FS#1005 – Multi-client capability
As of TimePunch 3.6, it is possible to run multiple clients on a single application server. Thus different companies can be installed and administered independently on one server. This is important when several companies share the same IT infrastructure.
The subitems FS#742, FS#968, FS#1006 to FS#1014 also belong to this point.

The following features were implemented in the management module:

  • FS#1003 – New payment method: Wages paid up to max. hours
Starting from this version, the hourly wage can also be paid up to a maximum number of hours. If the employee works less than the maximum number of hours, he or she is paid only the number of hours that he or she worked.
  • FS#1032 – Pause bookings also without target time
In TimePunch TEN, the mandatory break can now also be stored for days without an explicit target time. This means that the mandatory break can also be booked on Saturdays or Sundays, for example.
  • FS#1031 – Export to DATEV wage and salary with monthly data
To standardize the data export, the monthly data is exported to DATEV Wages and Salaries instead of the daily data from this version on.
  • FS#1019 – Display of the current daily working time
The current time entry for the current day is now also added to the analysis in the “Working time on” field.
  • FS#1016 – Illegal import of time data
When importing time data from a CSV file, the system now also checks whether the imported data lies within the permissible booking frame of the project.
  • FS#1004 – Working time posting to previous project (TP TEN)
For TimePunch TEN, it is now also possible to book working time bookings at the terminal for the last selected project. Thus, activities started at the studio, after a break at the terminal, can be continued without selecting the project again.

The following errors were fixed in the Datafox module/cutter module:

  • FS#1033 – Zombie Transaction
For customers the Datafox Service and/or the Cutter Service was partially terminated without motivation. The problem was a zombie transaction that caused the service to crash. This problem has now been fixed.

TimePunch Patch

This patch for TimePunch 3.5 fixes minor problems that occurred with different installations.

The following issues have been fixed:

  • FS#1029 – Overnight entries extended from 6 hours to 10 hours

Inactive time entries, e.g. due to leaving the PC switched on, are only terminated automatically after 10 hours after the patch and not after 6 hours as before. This prevents time entries that are started in the morning from not being saved as time entries after a long meeting day because the employee has not been at the PC for more than 6 hours.

  • FS#1027 – Action disappears when stopping

When stopping the time entry at the online module, the currently set activity was also deleted. This led to incorrect time entries when logging in again, e.g. after the pause, which is why this behavior was adapted.

  • FS#1025 – Arbitrary activity selection

When changing the project when changing a time entry in TimePunch Management, a seemingly arbitrary activity was partially selected. At this point the sorting was adjusted so that the first activity of the project will be selected again in the future.

  • FS#1021 – Payroll accounting daily report / monthly report / tabular

In a very special configuration of the working time model in connection with the calculation of the 13-week average for public holidays, illness and vacation, an incorrect number of target hours was displayed in the report. The calculation in TimePunch was not affected by this.

TimePunch Patch 3.4.429.0

This patch for TimePunch 3.4 fixes some minor problems that occurred during different installations.

The following new features have been implemented:

  • FS#959 – New holiday for Berlin: “International Women’s Day”

In Berlin, 8 March was set as International Women’s Day on 24 January 2019 as a public holiday. After this update, the new holiday will be visible for the federal state of Berlin from 2019.

The following issues have been fixed:

  • FS#965 – Edit time entries with deleted activity

An error has been fixed that overwrites the task of the time entry if it has already been deleted from the project. This occurred whenever the project dialog was opened from the time entry with a deleted activity.

  • FS#958 – Calculation of the hours quota for new projects without time entry

The calculation of the hourly quota was incorrect for new projects without an existing time entry. TimePunch threw an error, that there is no more time quota available.

  • FS#961 – The selected activity is lost in the Watcher from time to time

The activity set in the TimePunch Watcher was lost from time to time after a break. This problem should now be solved.

Important:The new holiday in Berlin requires a database update after installation
